Welcome to the Rochester Minnesota Kennel Club Website !

RMKC was founded in 1975 as a non-profit organization that serves Rochester, Minnesota and the surrounding Southeastern Minnesota communities. We are licensed to hold American Kennel Club (AKC) all-breed events.

Our club's objectives are to:

• promote better dog citizenship.
• further the advancement of all purebred dogs.
• do all in its power to protect and advance the interest of all breeds of purebred dogs.
• encourage sportsmanship at dog shows, obedience trials and other sanctioned AKC events.
• conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, obedience trials and other events under the rules of the AKC.

We meet the second Monday of each month in Rochester. Educational programs are held throughout the year. You are welcome to join us at our meetings to learn more about the club and area dog related topics. Visitors are always welcome!

In September, we hold both our three day Agility Trial and our two day Dog Show which includes our Obedience & Rally Trials. The public is welcome!
